The international green week started on Friday hence it is a big topic in the food and agriculture related twitter community.
If you have a look at the twitpics with the hashtag #greenweek it is quite obvious that it is not only the fair, which is connected with this term. Many pictures show scenery's or banners from the protests coming with the fair:

This May the new European Parliament will be voted. The European Commission spreads a short video an Twitter asking for the readers view on environment and immigration. I think it is a good sign, seeing environment as one of two topics mentioned:
