Gender, Climate Change and Food Security
The FAO published a Training Guide for "Gender and climate change research in agriculture and food security for rural development". Pointing out the impact of women's role in the process of adapting current agriculture systems to new challenges faced by the climate change. As well as improving the situation of people living in rural areas by include both women an men. In about 100 pages it provides detailed information on how to implement methods to gather information in the field, analyse this data and apply the results:

No to Amflora
On Friday the European Court of Justice annulled the authorisation for the cultivation of the genetically modified potato Amflora. Many tweets followed to these news and most linked the official press release:
